Lindex spring collection report from LA with Izabella Scorupco

"The spring collection is inspired by Hollywood in the 50s and 60s. The mix of a city chic style and an easy-going relaxed look is important in LA, just as it is for our customers. Which is why LA is the perfect stage on which to present this spring's fashion collection from Lindex," says Ulrika Danielson, Director of Corporate Communications at Lindex.
In LA, Lindex's own fashion reporter Emma Wiklund has met another interesting personality, the internationally famous actress, model, Bond girl and singer Izabella Scorupco.
Izabella was born in 1970 in Poland and moved to Sweden when she was 8. Today she lives with her husband and two children in LA. We've seen her in films such as Golden Eye, Vertical Limit and the Exorcist, where she played opposite Stellan Skarsgård, and in the TV series Alias. Izabella is currently involved in the adaptation of Åsa Larsson's whodunit Solstorm (Solar Storm) for the big screen, in which she plays the lead.
"The spring collection from Lindex is absolutely right here in LA. I particularly love the fantastic tunics, which feels like one of the big items for the spring. It's even more fun to be doing this with Emma who is one of my close friends," says Izabella Scorupco.
With Emma, Izabella is presenting the Lindex spring collection. Tunics, dresses and blouses are the key garments in this spring's fashions with inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s. The proportions are important, with a lot of width at the top and narrower below.
To achieve the right A-line silhouette, tunics and dresses are combined with leggings or tight jeans or Capri pants. Black and white form the basis of the colour scheme with red and pink as some of the strongest accent colours.
The campaign will run from March 12 until June 3 on outdoor billboards, in the Lindex magazine Fashion Report, the website and in Lindex stores. The campaign will run in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
