The company plans to open up to 70 new HOUSES OF GERRY WEBER in the current fiscal year. In the coming years, the total number of HOUSES OF GERRY WEBER is to increase to 300 to 400.
The good operational and financial development of the GERRY WEBER Group underlines the sales and earnings projections for the current fiscal year, when sales will come close to the EUR 500 million mark.
Moreover, Gerhard Weber expects the EBIT margin to reach a double-digit level for the first time. The fashion and lifestyle company is again targeting double-digit sales and profit growth for the fiscal year 2007/2008. “We aim to double our sales revenues over the next five years and to push our EBIT margin up to roughly 15 percent,” the CEO said.
The Annual General Meeting, which is traditionally held in the week preceding the GERRY WEBER OPEN lawn tennis tournament at the GERRY WEBER Event & Convention Center, was attended by above 1,000 shareholders and shareholder representatives.
