Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) announces the names of designers participating at Rome Fashion Week. Designers Neeta Lulla and Pria Kataria Puri will be showcasing their Autumn Winter collection at the Rome Fashion Week scheduled from July 9-13, 2007 in Rome.
The designers are selected based on the decision made by the LFW Advisory Board, enabling Lakme Fashion Week to integrate India into the global fashion world.
LFW and Alta Roma, promoters of Italian style and the “Made in Italy” concept around the world, announced an exchange program for designers at LFW Autumn Winter 2007, this March.
Announcing the designer participation, Mr. Anil Chopra, VP Lakme Lever said, “LFW is pleased to announce the names of Indian designers participating at Alta Roma. The creations of the designers announced represent creatively different and truly showcase two ends of the fashion spectrum."
"The global cross-over with LFW and Alta Roma is an initiative towards providing an attractive platform for designers. As part of this initiative, Italian designer Giovanni Cavagna, specialised in knitwear, showcased his splendid winter collection last season.”
