ABIT, through the Brazil Textile Chain Strategic Program, Texbrasil, and with the support of the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, APEX-Brasil and in partnership with ABEST – Brazilian Association of Stylists organizes the participation of seven Brazilian apparel companies at the Bread & Butter fair, which will be held July 4-6, 2007 in Barcelona, Spain.
With varied products, the companies will show their novelties and most important pieces in women's, men's, jeanswear and beachwear fashion. The Lucidez, Martha Medeiros, Giselle Nasser, Poko Pano, Cavalera, V.Rom and Dindi brands will be present.
For the companies, their presence at B&B is the ideal opportunity to expand business with European buyers, as well as make partnerships that can benefit businesspeople in both countries. In the first quarter of 2007, Brazilian imports of Spanish apparel products exceeded US$ 4 million and exports reached US$ 7 million and 360 thousand.
During the same period of 2006, sales of Brazilian apparel products to Spain reached US$ 10 million and 400 thousand, and imports reached US$ 3 million and 488 thousand.
