After being absent from three São Paulo Fashion Weeks, Carlota Joakina returned to the event's catwalks to present her proposal for her summer of 2008 collection.
The idea is to make beachwear part of urban life. And that is where the ample and comfortable shapes emerge: bermudas, tunics, tank tops, dresses and overalls. Tailoring has references in some looks. In the prints, stripes predominate.
Transparencies are used in overlays. The brand used cottons, chiffon, viscose knit and silk satin. Carlota Joakina's color chart includes: off-white, gray, blended gray, black, royal blue, navy blue, red, pastel rose and fluorescents.
