SIPIEL exhibition shouts Look at Me!

Excellent Prospects for the Forthcoming Edition:
The marketing campaign for the new SIPIEL is well underway and offers some excellent prospects. Thus, with still two months to go before the Week opening, some 572 companies have already confirmed their attendance, among which one hundred are foreign manufacturers.

In total, the net exhibition area at the fair has reached 30,761 square metres. Furthermore, the predictions indicate that the fair will continue to expand at the present rate of growth until it brings together some 700 exhibitors from around the world, filling an exhibition area measuring some 34,000 square metres.

To date, MODACALZADO, the International Footwear Trade Fair, has confirmed the participation of a total of 369 companies, of which 89 will be attending the event from abroad. The rest of the exhibitors at SIPIEL will be attending IBERPIEL MARROQUINERÍA, the International Leather Goods Trade Fair, which has already confirmed the attendance of some 58 exhibitors.

Furthermore, SIPIEL will unveil a new layout as of its next edition. The participating brands will be located in eight different sections of the fair, based on their style, product philosophy and the segment of the market they are targeting.

METRO will bring together the most youthful, radical and ground-breaking companies of mass consumer appeal. At CASUAL, visitors will be able to view a range of sporty and comfortable products of considerable commercial clout. This segment will share space with the children's footwear section, known as NIÑO (Kids).

COLOURS, for its part, will bring together the large Spanish fashion distributors and retailers, as well as manufacturers and importers of a diverse range of products: sneakers, fashion footwear, etc The section known as CHIC will bring together the latest trends in footwear within the medium-category segment, along with leather goods companies in the section known as IBERPIEL CHIC.

Finally, the most sophisticated collections, which offer the most exclusive and high-quality fashion appeal and the highest range of prices, will be located in the GLAMOUR section. And IBERPIEL GLAMOUR will present the equivalent products within the world of leather accessories.

The innovations at SIPIEL will continue during the following edition, which is due to take place in March 2008. This edition will stage the official presentation of the event's new logo, which is much more modern and in keeping with the new innovative structure at SIPIEL.
