ITKIB targets to transform Istanbul into Fashion Capital!

In bringing together 15 trade associations which have fused their clout to transform Istanbul into a fashion center to form the IF Council, as well as the Istanbul Textiles and Ready-to-Wear Exporters' Union (ITKIB) have both thrown their full weight to support the 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair, the Turkish Ready-to-Wear Sector's only and largest fair, scheduled to be held at CNR EXPO between 23 - 25 August, 2007.
THE TARGET IS TO TRANSFORM ISTANBUL INTO A FASHION CAPITAL!: The 2007 International Istanbul Fashion Fair, which will be held at two separate dates to mark the winter and summer seasons, holds distinct importance as a platform that spotlights our country's performance on a global scale. The synergy formulated as a result of fusing the clout of the IF Council and ITKIB promises to increase imports while facilitating new business connections in the international arena.
PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES BOTH IN TURKEY AND ABROAD CONTINUE AT BREAKNECK SPEED!: A Study Group comprised of CNR, Fair Executive Board members and service professionals have initiated the business of dealing with issues regarding the content, shape, targets and applications of the 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair to be held at the CNR EXPO between 23 - 25 August, 2007.
The application of promotional and event activities in local and international press and media mediums which are outlined in the program have been implemented. Noteworthy designers from Turkey and abroad will be participating in this fair which will bring professional buyers from throughout the world together with exhibitors in Turkey with the full support of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade.
