To celebrate the launch of Anton Corbijn's film 'Control', the story of the late Joy Division singer Ian Curtis' life, Paul Smith has commissioned Peter Savile to design a limited edition T-shirt.

Peter Saville is one of the most critically acclaimed graphic designers working today. Since making his name twenty years ago as Art Director and co-Founder of Factory Records, the legendary independent record label, he has created iconic graphics for such bands as Joy Division, New Order and Pulp.

For this unique Paul Smith project, Peter has chosen a simple design referencing the pulses of a neutron star which featured on the cover of Joy Division's debut album 'Unknown Pleasures', released in 1979.

Paul Smith 'Control' T-shirts are available at Paul Smith shops nationwide and from the Paul Smith online shop.

Control' will be released nationwide on October 5th.
