Notice is hereby given that your attendance is requested at the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of AB Lindex which will be held in Chalmers kårhus, Chalmersplatsen 1, Gothenburg, Sweden on Wednesday 26 September 2007 at 4 pm.
Shareholders who wish to attend the EGM must be entered in the shareholders' register kept by the Swedish Securities Centre, VPC AB, on Thursday 20 September 2007 and notify the company of their intention to attend not later than 1 pm on Monday 24 September 2007 by mail to AB Lindex, stating name, personal/corporate identity number and daytime telephone number.
For those who wish to be represented by a proxy agent, the company provides a Power of Attorney form, which is available.
Shareholders, whose shares are nominee-registered, must temporarily re-register their shares in their own names with VPC AB. Shareholders who wish such re-registration must notify the nominee of this in good time before 20 September 2007.

The Board of Directors proposes that the shareholder's meeting empowers the Board to take such measures as are required in order to bring forward a transaction, structured largely as follows.
A dormant company held outside of the Lindex Group with the suggested name Lindex Holding AB and with a share capital of minimum SEK 500,000, takes up bank loans or arranges other appropriate financing on market terms in the amount of SEK three billion, and makes a public offer to the shareholders of Lindex to transfer all of their shares in Lindex to Lindex Holding.
