ABIT, through the Texbrasil Program – created in partnership with APEX-Brasil, organized the participation of 14 Brazilian companies divided into seven stands at the Prêt à Porter Paris Fair, in France, from September 6-9.
The companies are Natural Fashion, Apoena, Viver de Arte, 1001 Retalhos and Algodão Colorido Natural, the latter comprised of five brands: Francisca Vieira, Z-AZ, Coco Brasil, Celene Sitônio and Maria Chick, were at the So ETHIC space, special for apparel companies with some sort of social or social-environmental work.
Lucidez introduced its novelties at the Be Twin space and the Clube de Estilo (which included the Diva, Daniele Mabe and Daniela Zylberstein brands at its stand) in the Atmosphère section.
According to the companies' coordinators at the event, 221 contacts were made in countries such as Germany, Barbados, Arab Emirates, Spain, France, Greece, Holland, England, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Poland and Portugal, as well as buyers for the Middle East.
According to a survey made with the brands, business made at the event totaled US$ 140.1 thousand. The expectation is for that value to reach US$ 393 thousand over the next 12 months.
“Brand promotion was excellent. I want to go back,” said Apoena director, Ana Kátia F. Conceição. “We are expecting orders from Barcelona, in Spain and from Italy,” said the coordinator for the Algodão Colorido Natural group, Francisca Vieira.
“Everyone did great at the fair! Very professional. We made contacts in France, Spain, Holland and Italy," said the partners at Viver de Arte, Ana Maria de Paiva and Rosa Piatti.
The owner of 1001 Retalhos, Ana Paula Felippe, made nearly 50 contacts at the event. “I intend to participate in the next fair, depending on the results that will be obtained over the coming months,” she commented.
