BIJOYA MUKHERJEE: It was a simple elegant collection playing with hand block prints and abstract tribal motifs in shades of black, white and pastels for belted long kaftans, kerchief sleeves print tie up top, asymmetric layered kurtas and crisp saris. It was all ideal summer wear with a lot of style.
ARJUN AGARWAL: Here was a collection with a cute name – Sweet Tooth – with some happy youthful candy colours and fun silhouettes. The embellishments matched the theme as floral motifs and embellishments were the icing on the dresses.
Lace, georgette and chiffon was blended together to create some stylish cocktail dresses with just a hint of glitter on hemlines and bodice.
SWATI BHIMTE: With her Rag Doll collection, Swati Bhimte presented a line that could be termed as more futuristic and space age with the most stunning fabric folding and twisting for sleeves, yokes, skirts.
The colours were summer shades of peach, pale grey, beige and orange with a hint of smudgy prints on some of the garments for practical fun garments that will appeal to the cyber generation of the new millennium.
