Fashion consultants analyze Minas Trend Preview brands

A consultant from Colombia, two from Russia and one from the USA came to see up close the Minas Trend Preview pre-collections. The event was held November 11 to 13, in Belo Horizonte.

They talk to the businessmen, analyze the pieces, suggest adjustments when necessary (quality, price, design, added value, fabrics, sizes) for possible exports to their countries.

In the end, they score the evaluated items. The consultants were brought in by the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT), through the Texbrasil Program, developed in partnership with the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), which belongs to the Brazilian government.

This is the fourth time ABIT holds the Texbrasil Circuit, which over the past two days brought more than 16 consultants from about ten different countries to know and analyze products at different textile centers in Brazil.

Another important part of the visit of these consultants is the moment they give strategic lectures for each target market they represent.

When and what to sell to the Russians? How does the Colombian woman view Brazilian fashion? What are the best distribution channels in the USA? Questions such as these are explained during the consultants' lectures.
