After years of reticence optimism is now returning to the German textile retail trade. The country is seeing an upswing, the economy is continuing to pick up and this is drawing people back into the shops with a desire to spend.
For both national and international producers Germany is now once again a stronger focus of interest. For international brands this means winning back the ground lost over the past few years.
Fashion fairs like the Igedo Fashion Fairs Düsseldorf bring suppliers and customers together at the same time and place thereby creating a perfect communication and order platform which constitutes a high-performing and sustainable sales channel for the fashion industry.
As the most important hub for women's and men's wear, lingerie, beach wear and accessories the Igedo Fashion Fairs are also feeling the effect of these positive developments.
Fairs organiser the Igedo Company is expecting 1,700 exhibitors at the four fashion fairs CPD Düsseldorf, HMD Düsseldorf, Body Look and Global Fashion – showcasing the trends for the 2008/2009 Autumn/Winter season at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 10 to 12 February 2008.
This means the number of exhibiting collections remains at a constant 2,300. At no other location in Germany is the fashion range larger than it is at the Igedo Fashion Fairs in the fashion metropolis of Düsseldorf. Across the city a total of over 3,000 brands are presented to buyers from all over the world.
