As well as designer collections of garments, World Boutique, Hong Kong features all kinds of branded fashion products, from fashion accessories to home fashion, and from lifestyle products to small gifts.
The event also includes a dazzling array of runway shows where garments and accessories can be displayed in an optimal environment. Famous designers and brands such as Ika, Cecilia Yau, William Tang, Moiselle, Anniewho and many more will reveal the fashion trend for Fall/ Winter 2008.
Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers' Contest 2008 will be a highlight of World Boutique, Hong Kong. The aim of this contest is to cultivate and promote a new generation of young designers, whose work will further enhance the image of Hong Kong as a fashion design centre.
The contest is divided into three categories, Casual & Jeans-wear, Contemporary Day-wear and Party & Evening-wear. Finalists' designs will be showcased.
Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/ Winter welcomed more than 25,500 buyers from 111 countries and regions in 2007, while more than 19,200 buyers from 96 countries and regions visited World Boutique, Hong Kong 2007. The high attendance reaffirms the status of the two fairs in the industry.
