The China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair – Guangzhou has been held since 2004. For previous editions, Panyu People's Government fully supported the Fair by subsidising Panyu exhibitors or inviting them to open the doors of their factories for visits by overseas buyers during the Fair.
Next year, the government will again support the Fair, and together with the efforts of Guangzhou Panyu Jewelry Manufacturers Association in organising local jewellers to take part in the Fair, we expect the scale of the Panyu pavilion and of the Fair will apparently be larger than last event, with over 200 exhibitors occupying more than 500 booths."
"Simultaneously, to make the fair even better, CMP is actively liaising with governments and associations of Conghua, Huadu, Sihui and Wuzhou, inviting them to organise their own pavilions at the Guangzhou Fair so as to make the Guangzhou Fair the most significant event in south China in the middle of year." The 5th China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair – Guangzhou is organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangzhou Municipality, Guangzhou Panyu People's Government, China Gold Association and CMP China Ltd.
Co-organisers include Shanghai Diamond Exchange, Shanghai Gold Exchange, China Diamond Manufacturers Association, Guangdong Gold & Silver Jewelry Association, Guangzhou Panyu Jewelry Manufacturers Association, Guangzhou Liwan Jades Association, Shanghai Gold & Jewellery Trade Association and Tianjin Gold Jewellery Association. Supporting organisations are World Gold Council and Chamber of Gold Silver Jewelry of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce.
An extensive range of fine jewellery and raw materials will be showcased at the Fair.
