Gitanjali Gems Ltd has informed that the Company has acquired following Brand Assets through one of its wholly subsidiaries 'Gitanjali Ventures DMCC' a Company incorporated in Dubai with its registered office at level 41, Emirates Towers, Shaikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Further the Company has informed that, the above said Brand Assets have been acquired from 'The Diamond Trading Company Ltd' (DTC), a Company incorporated in England and Wales, United Kingdom.
Earlier the exclusive licence to use the above said brand assets was with 'Brightest Circle Jewellery Pvt. Ltd (BCJPL), a then associate of the Company. BCJPL also had the option to purchase the above said Brand Assets.
However by virtue of a 'Deed of waiver of option and termination of licence' BCJPL has irrevocably waived and surrendered all it rights and interests in the above said Brand Assets.
