Taking inspiration from work-jackets of old, the practical neps denim work-jacket is super stonewashed and garment-dirty washed. Contrast topstitching, delavé velvet collar, quilted cotton plaid lining, inside canvas reinforcements are further features.
Completing the Marlboro Classics Basic Collection - on show in January at Pitti Uomo Immagine along with the Authentic Denim project - is a fine selection of other items: the leather-jacket with interesting washes and hand treatments (on the finished garment); indigo yarn-dyed linen/cotton shirts with stunning details of construction; T-shirts and sweatshirts, garment-dyed and distress-washed, in combed “slow”-knit cotton for a soft comfortable feel.
