Julie Gilhart promoted to SVP, Fashion Director Women

Barneys New York, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading branded apparel, footwear and accessories designer and marketer Jones Apparel Group Inc announced that Julie Gilhart has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Fashion Director/Women's.
Gilhart, who has been with Barneys since 1992, previously held the title of Vice President, Fashion Merchandising/Women's. "Julie is a very big part of what makes the fashion mix at Barneys so unique," stated Chairman Howard Socol. She continues to report to Judy Collinson, Executive Vice President, GMM/Women's.
