Cate Blanchett rocks Cannes opening with Armani Privé silk dress

Giorgio Armani will dress several participants and guests attending the 61st annual Cannes Film Festival from May 14th to May 25th, 2008 in Cannes, France.
For the opening-night ceremony, actress Cate Blanchett will wear a Giorgio Armani Privé silk organza dress featuring overlapping petal effects and ruffle collar in organza plissé, in soft rose colour.
Rachida Brakni, for the red carpet, has chosen to wear a Giorgio Armani Privé long black silk gauze and crin gown, bustier entirely embroidered in Swarovski crystals.
Italian actress Ornella Muti will wear a dark grey Giorgio Armani long gown with a deep V neck and slit at front with lace infill, in floral print silk covered by a layer of tulle embroidered with sequins and beads.
