Maria Bonita Extra's 2008/09 summer emerged from the book "The Lover", by Marguerite Duras, who lives a prohibited romance with an older man.
The emotion and enchantment of the story inspired stylist Ana Magalhães, who worked the moulage technique in silk, cotton and linen dresses.
She brings animals and flowers with oriental touches in the prints. The lengths of the pieces range from short to below the knee.
The bolero and sarouel pants highlight the collection, as do bermudas and short pants. The colors are: pastels, mango, strawberry, pistachio and tutti-frutti.
