A master craftsman of Hermès, is scheduled to arrive on December 27, at Saipan Boutique, to exhibit the art of making a signature shoulder bag by hand.
The gala will continue till January 5, at the DFS Galleria where the professional will share his expertise with the public.
According to the owner of the boutique, Ms H J Jang, Hermes had been organizing these kinds of workshops for over 170 years.
It takes near about 17 days for an artisan to complete a leather bag with intricate stitching process. Each Hermès product has a label that identifies the name and code of the maker of that particular product.
Last year, a similar kind of event was organized in Saipan that was quite successful.
