Susil Dungarwal joins multi-branded store The Loot as CEO

He has had a long and distinguished career spanning almost two decades in retailing, having worked with premier retailers like Saint Marks, The Big Kids Kemp and Shoppers' Stop. Susil has contributed to the growth of the retail movement in India. He has led various retail industry delegations in international conventions. He is the distinguished recipient of the 'Rashtriya Ratna Award – 2001' for the best up-coming 'Retailer of the Country'.
Susil played a key role in the compilation of 'Retail 2000-2001' & Retail 2002-03 the books on retailing, by The Economic Times. He was the only Indian retailer to be invited by the Australian Trade Commission 'Austrade' as a speaker on 'Indian food retailing' across five cities in Australia in the year 2001. Susil is one of the few retail professionals who have moved from a front-end job to the level of a CEO, and is hands-on on the business.
