Entertainment and relaxation for trade visitors are offered by gaming consoles set up in cooperation with video game manufacturers. The Design Attack supporting programme also includes numerous performances, DJs and live music acts. Electro bands and laser effects make the fashion shows a special experience. A live painting initiative care of the “Pleasure Gäng” simulates the construction of a skyscraper. The Electric Times will report on the current events on the young designer platform. This newspaper will feature exhibitor interviews, product introductions, record tips from DJs, the zone's event programme plus special tips for visitors to Düsseldorf from the urban trend scene.
GDS will be held in Düsseldorf from 12 to 14 March 2010 and from 10 to 12 September 2010. Altogether some 740 exhibitors from 32 countries will be presenting ca. 1,600 shoe collections for Autumn/Winter 2010 (correct as of 26 January 2010).
