Block Mercantile partners Block and Melet met in 2001 while collaborating on a personal project for Donna Karan.
Melet, who had for nine years been the director of vintage and antique buying for Ralph Lauren, left three years ago to open Melet Mercantile.
Melet Mercantile is a showroom that sells vintage clothes and accessories privately to various clients that include, fashion designers, stylists, photographers, collectors, actors and musicians.
