Stronger together! The Première Vision Pluriel shows again reaffirm the strength of their unique ensemble. For the edition that just closed (8-10 February 2011), attendance climbed by 6.5% compared to the February 2010 session, with 55,792 visits by fashion professionals from over 100 countries. This remarkable vitality was driven by the dynamism of each individual show, with all six events (Expofil, Première Vision, Indigo, Le Cuir à Paris, ModAmont, Zoom by Fatex) registering increases.
The rise in numbers was accompanied by a very positive business climate at all the shows. Beyond the enthusiastic reception for the season's new creations and innovations, discussion in the aisles and stands focussed on the soaring prices of raw materials and supplies. This is an issue of uncertainty and often concern for fashion sector businesses, and will surely play a major role in the markets in the coming months.
The success of ZOOM by fatex confirms the anticipation of an industry upturn and the increased advantages of close-proximity manufacturing in the Euromed zone.
This 6th edition of Zoom by Fatex undeniably situates the fashion accessories & household linen manufacturers fair for the Euromed zone, Mauritius and Madagascar as a key player for co-contracting in the Western clothing and textile industry.
Zoom by Fatex, at the heart of Première Vision Pluriel, has definitely found a place on clothing and textile ordergivers' calendars and sparked lasting interest with visitors from the moment it opened its doors. Visitor attendance has been constantly on the rise since the fair's creation (3 years ago) + 8,5% compared with September 2010, + 16% compared with February 2010.
The quality selection of companies present, their diverse know-how and techniques, their particular attention in seeking solutions for visitors – especially in the Leather area – and a broad scope of visitors from couture to mass market guaranteed an advantageous base of development at the fair and off ered a balance between quality, rapidity and proximity.
From February 8 to 10, 2011 at Paris-Nord Villepinte, Zoom by Fatex welcomed 43% of French visitors and 57% of international visitors.
Top five international visitors United Kingdom: 11% of visitors, Italy: 5.86% of visitors, Germany: 4.61% of visitors, Spain: 4.35% of visitors, Belgium: 3.44% of visitors
Figures followed closely by the Netherlands and Portugal. The European Union represented 83% of visitors but the increase of visitors from North America and the Middle East is significant, indicating a new demand for quality manufacturing.
A success for all types of manufacturing proposed : MEN/WOMEN/CHILDREN/SHOES/LEATHER ACCESSORIES/ WORK GARMENTS … Success thanks to the close proximity and reactivity of 135 manufacturers from 12 countries : France, Mauritius, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Madagascar, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Tunisia and Turkey.
