C C Filson Co. of Seattle to launch a chic outdoor apparel store in Cherry Creek North retail district this summer.
The store is likely to be opened on July 1 occupying the space of 2,600 square-feet at 200 Filmore St., according to the company sources.
The company has been manufacturing and selling outdoor clothing from underwear and socks to coats, pants, shirts, boots and vests for hunters and fishers. It also provides accessories like luggage (gun and fishing rod cases), belts, hats and sunglasses.
The Denver store will be the apparel retailer's second location and first store other than its 109-year-old main store in Seattle.
As Denver market already has many Filson catalogue and web customers, company has selected this location for its new store.
Excessive hunting, fishing and large outdoor community in Denver bring strong recognition to its brand, said Doug Williams, CEO of the company.
