Malabar Gold, the leading jeweler, is to open its 11th showroom on Thursday May 18.
The showroom located at Fortune Building at Falnir road, will be inaugurated by Malayalam cine actor Mohan Lal.
This was disclosed by Malabar Group of Companies Chairman M P Ahmed in a press meet on Monday.
The showroom plans to showcase extensive collections of jewellery in gold, platinum and diamonds from India as well as across the globe, featuring international brand names such as Rado, Omega, Tissot and Longines.
The company was launched with alliance of certain NRI's in 1993.It plans to have around 18 branches by end of 2006.
Malabar Gold has already opened outlets in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Calicut, Tirur, Kannur, Thalassery, Kasargod, Palakkad, Manjeri and Thrissur.
Showrooms at Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Kodungallur, Badagara, Perinthalmanna, Sultan Battery and Kanhangad, are also on the anvil, shortly, he said.
