Exhibitions! No more threat to local businessmen

Industry and Commerce Ministry has taken steps to avoid unnecessary competition and to protect the local market and businessmen from undue rivalry.
According to Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro, there will be no exhibitions during important occasions and festivals.
The Autumn Fair and Jewellery Arabia Exhibition will not be arranged during any kind of festivities.
Around 250 Syrian exhibitors are allowed sell their products in the Autumn Fair but not during the Syrian Trade Fair.
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry has planned to organize 40 fairs during 2007 and 45 exhibitions in 2008.
