Queensland Investment Corporation has proposed a $470 million development at Castle Towers at Castle Hill, Sydney and is awaiting approval from Baulkham Hills Shire Council.
This project, if passed, will make Towers Australia's biggest shopping mall, covering 170,000-square-metre which will house not only retail store but also eateries and beauty spas.
After spending about $45 million on land acquisition and planning, the Corporation has negotiated to buy two roads from the council, Castle Street and Castle Place, for a walkway merging the old centre with its newer half.
Around 13,500 square metres will be allotted to cinemas and 8674 will hold parking spots.
