Chinese polyamide fiber output marginally up in Sept

China's domestic production of polyamide fiber reached 130,000 tons in September 2011, against 129,000 tons in September 2010, up a marginal 0.8 percent.

China's total domestic production of polyamide fiber touched 1.192 million tons from January to September 2011, a rise of 9.6 percent against 1.088 million tons in the first nine months of 2010.

Polyamide fibres include nylons and Aramid fibres, which are manufactured by a melt spinning process. The finished products include fine nylon stockings, parachute fabrics, outer sporting and many other applications.
