Acrylic fibre production in China dipped to 52,580 tons in April this year from output of 55,800 tons in March 2012, showing a month-on-month decline of 5.77 percent, according to statistics.

Along with a decline in production, there was a huge decrease in sales, which resulted in an increase in inventories.

Acrylic fibre inventories in China increased to 19,870 tons in April 2012, as against inventories of 11,440 tons a month earlier, registering a sharp 73.69 percent rise in inventory level.
