With the increasing demand for Chinese chemical-fibre, around 93.11 percent production lines in the country opened up, augmenting its export.

The output of polyvinyl formal fibre in March was 3743 tons, compared to 7.03 and 19.24 percent more than January and February production respectively.

The sale of Chinese chemical-fibre in March was 3853 tons, 3.32 percent more than January and 16.22 percent higher than February.

Increase in export resulted in this growth. The export accounted for about 60 percent of the total sale in March as compared to the same period of last year. However, the domestic sale decreased some.

In addition, the inventory of Chinese chemical-fibre in March was 2685 tons; in February it was 2398 tons and in January it touched 2575 tons.
