Although the overall market price of spandex showed a downward trend in July, the domestic supply remained adequate. As a result, prices in some provinces showed an upward trend in the beginning of August.
Recently, 20D spandex bid price in Shandong market was 1,28,000-1,33,000 yuan per ton, with individual brands reaching as high as 142,000 yuan per ton.
30D spandex price stayed at 1,02,000 yuan per ton while 40D spandex price range remained between 81,000-85,000 yuan per ton.
Trade volume for spandex fibre remained balanced during this period.
