Xinjiang Hai Long Chemical Fiber Co Ltd has started the construction of a facility to produce differential viscose staple fiber at No 2 Industrial Park in Alar City located in Xinjiang region. The unit is expected to start production by the end of 2008.
The project needs a total investment of nearly 440.25 million yuan. The factory would manufacture 50,000 differential viscose staple fibers per year after completion.
The establishment of Xinjiang Hai Long Chemical Fiber Co Ltd is a joint venture between Shandong Hai Long Company and Xinjiang Farm Company.
