Viscose fiber output shows slight stoop

In January-April 2008, China's above-scale enterprises produced 509,600 tons of viscose fiber, a slight decrease of 558,600 tons from the same period last year.

Viscose fiber production of the same period in the previous four years indicated increase.

From 2003 to 2007, annual viscose fiber production of above-scale enterprises showed year-on-year growth from 800,000 tons to 1.54 million tons.
