Chemical fibre production witnesses fall in November

According to statistics (sample enterprises) of China Textile Circulation Association, production of chemical fibre in November 2008 reached about 481,000 tons, representing a reduction of nearly 4,000 tons or 0.82 percent from the previous month, and a decrease of almost 29,600 tons or 5.80 percent year-on-year.

November sales touched about 514,000 tons, an increase of nearly 60,000 tons from the previous month, or 13.26 percent and representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 12,400 tons, or 2.47 percent.

November stock was about 272,000 tons, a decrease of almost 32,000 tons from the previous month, or down 10.62 percent, but a year-on-year increase of nearly 45,500 tons, or 20.07 percent.
