VSF prices rise marginally before festival holidays

In the week before the festival, viscose staple fibre (VSF) prices rose marginally. Mainstream offers were quoted at 19,000 Yuan / ton, up 200-250 Yuan / ton compared with the previous week.

The highest bid reached 19,400 Yuan / ton, while the lowest fell to 18,500 thousand Yuan per ton. Domestic supply was very tight, inventories were low, and quotes had no concession.

Most viscose enterprises are expecting a promising market after the festival, so they adopted a wait and watch attitude.
