Huge leap in chemical fibre pulp output in 2010

According to data analysis by the Statistics Center of the China Textile Industry Association, China's national production of chemical fiber pulp reached 303,283 tons in the first two months of 2010.

This means an increase of 65.68 percent year on year. The provinces which accounted for a major portion of this production were Xinjiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Henan, Jilin, Hubei and Sichuan provinces.

The combined output of six provinces and municipalities of Xinjiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Henan and Jilin accounted for 86.70 percent of China's total output.
