Chemical fiber yarn output up in Jan-Feb 2010

As of January-February 2010, total national output of chemical fiber yarn realized 478,700 tons, up 37.62 percent year on year, according to data analysis of Statistics Center under the China Textile Industry Association.

The major provinces and which accounted for 90.21 percent of total chemical fiber yarn production in the country were Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Sichuan, Shandong, Jiangxi and Hunan.

Among them, Fujian's output increased by 34.66 percent year on year, accounting for 31.87 percent of total production in the country.
