Chinese textile firm develops new eco-friendly fibres

Shandong Donghua Haitian Textiles (HTT) Corporation has recently introduced and launched a new fibre which has features of saving on energy costs, low carbon emissions and to a great extent is eco-friendly.

The new PDT fibre (PDT Corn bio-based polyester fiber) is produced by blending corn bio-based molecule and PTA. The total manufacturing capacity of the PDT fibre plant is 30 kilo tons per year.

The PDT fibre is available in counts 1.2D*51MM, 1.5D*38MM, 2D*88MM and 3D*88MM. With these various fibres, HTT produced yarn products ranging in counts of 21s, 32s, 40s and 60s and filament products in range of 50D, 100D, 150D and 200D.
