Turkish textile firm invests 3 mn Euros in non-woven fibre

In Turkey's southern province of Kahramanmaras, a non-woven fibre facility, costing around 3 million euros was launched early this week, generating jobs for 25 people.

As per owner, Ziya Gümüser, Teknomelt, is likely to be Kahramanmaras first modern textile facility with a production capacity of 60 tons a month.

Gümüser informed that, there's was the second firm in this field in Turkey. And although, investment in textiles in Turkey was big, the product range had yet to be diversified. Currently, their major markets are US and Europe.

With an initial export volume of 1.5 million euros per year, Teknomelt's facility is located on 15,000 square metres in Kahramanmaras industrial zone and includes a built up area of 2,000 square metres.
