Provisional anti-dumping duty on Chinese glass fibre imports

The European Union Advisory Committee recently held a special meeting, to discuss anti-dumping measures on imports of glass fiber from China.
The meeting eventually approved the recommendation of implementing provisional anti-dumping measures on glass fiber imports from China.
The advisory committee took this decision amidst strong opposition from companies using the imported glass fibre as raw material in the countries of EU.
The European Commission is expected to officially make preliminary determination about the case on September 17.
