Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA) organized a general meeting in Sialkot with Muhammad Ajmal Cheema, Punjab Minister for Industries, Investment and Commerce, as the Chief Guest.
Cheema assured that the Government is working hard to tackle the problems faced by the leather industry.
He informed that Leather Garments Institute, Gujranwala had been revamped to meet the industry's demands and technological advancement would also be given special attention.
In past several years leather sector has made remarkable growth in the international market.
