Indian participation at the prestigious Ukraine Fair - 9th International Festival KYIV FASHION'2005 in September, has been confirmed by Tapan Nandi, President of Indian Leather Products Association.
It is hoped that the Ukraine Fair will provide ample opportunities for Indian leather wear and accessories maker, Nandi added.
He also informed that the country's exports are expected to reach $363.5 million.
Eastern region is expected to cobntribute 65 percent of the above amount that will include a variety of leather handbags, ladies bags, luggage, and other attractive leather accessories.
India is also targeting countries like US, Canada and Europe, and seeking virgin markets in in Eastern Europe and South America, particularly at Brazil and Peru.
