Sports headwear maker New Era Cap Co Inc has reported that it promoted 13 employees, including Tim Talley, formerly one of the company's business unit directors, named Senior Director, Urban Business Unit.
New Era's Vice President of Human Resources, Timothy Freer said, "New Era is excited to announce that 13 of its employees have stood out in their roles within the company and have been rewarded by being promoted."
"Their contribution to New Era has been exceptional and is just an example of the hard work and dedication exhibited by all of our employees everyday. The advancement of these employees within the company is a testament to New Era's commitment to grow and develop its employees, as well as its business in Western New York," he added.
Tim Talley has made a considerable contribution to New Era since he joined the company in July 2003. He has a keen insight into product development, has added value across the company's strategic business units, and developed New Era's EK by New Era brand, while advancing the Urban Business Unit and the company's business in that space.
Appointed Director of Domestic Manufacturing, Joe Zwirecki joined New Era as the Manager of Scheduling & Planning in June 2003. During his time with New Era Mr Zwirecki has supported the domestic manufacturing function with enthusiasm and has taken on these responsibilities seamlessly.
Recently, Dorothy Maritime was asked to act as Interim Manager of Customer Service while continuing in her role as head of New Era's Credit Department. Although a transitional position, Ms Maritime exhibited a great deal of knowledge in the service-area of the New Era's business, warranting her promotion to Director of Customer Service and Credit.
