Belleville was nominated for this category based on its superior support to Defense Supply Center Philadelphia with the introduction of the hot-weather Army combat boot and temperate-weather Army combat boot.
Belleville is the only manufacturer producing both boot styles, worn with the new Army combat uniform.
DLA provides supply support, and technical and logistics services to the US military services and several federal civilian agencies.
Headquartered at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, the agency is the one source for nearly every consumable item, whether for combat readiness, emergency preparedness or day-to-day operations.
