Nation's leading brand of comfortable, stylish casual wear, Dockers San Francisco announced it has been named the official apparel sponsor of the 2006 Independent Spirit Awards.
Providing the perfect backdrop for Dockers to convey its message of easygoing, sophisticated style for men and women, the Independent Spirit Awards' laid-back vibe meshes seamlessly with the Dockers brand essence.
"Dockers is committed to supporting new artists and original talent," said Dawn Hudson, Executive Director of Film Independent, the organizing body behind the event.
"They are thrilled to have such an innovative company as one of their sponsors for this year's Spirit Awards."
The Dockers/Independent Spirit Awards partnership is unique from traditional sponsor relationships as the brand will be wholly engrained in the Spirit Awards onsite.
Look for Dockers signature color on the red -- actually the "khaki" -- carpet as celebrities make their way to the ceremony.
Dockers style can be seen throughout the Spirit Awards tents with one-of-a-kind khakis and limited-edition vintage Dockers T-shirts specially designed and given to the likes of nominees Heath Ledger, George Clooney, Sandra Oh and Felicity Huffman, to name a few.
On stage, all statuette presenters will be outfitted in Dockers and behind the scenes, volunteers will be clad in Dockers/ISA T-shirts.
In 2005, the Dockers brand evolved beyond performance-based pants for men into a stylish, head-to-toe lifestyle brand for both men and women, with the launch of Dockers San Francisco.
