Muslim girl refugees to sport Nike uniform

International sports giant, Nike is paying special attention to details to expand its reach in different parts of the world.

For instance, the company has designed volleyball uniforms for Islamic girls in Kenyan refugee camp.

These uniforms are detailed to meet the Muslim standards while being comfortable at play.

Oliver Delarue, UN High Commission for Refugees, informed that the long pants and a top similar to traditional jilbab, made up the uniforms.

He also added that the girls chose the most traditional of the four options presented by Nike.

Quality of fabric was modern and allowed free movement to the players.

Nike has been engaged in social welfare activities including educational programs in the camps sheltering over 127,000 Somalian refugees.
