The 'Image of the Year Awards' competition was created in 1978 in order to recognize excellence in image apparel for the work environment. A panel of independent fashion and industry experts select the winners based upon a wide range of criterion including functional design, image enhancement, brand recognition and projection, garment practicality, color scheme, originality of design and coordination of garments and accessories.
