Woolworths Holdings Limited, the South African retail chain giant, has launched an exclusive lingerie line created in collaboration with the famous Johannesburg-based model Bonang Matheba.

Titled as ‘Distraction By Bonang’, the comfortable yet extremely feminine range, which also is 26-year-old Matheba’s debut innerwear design venture, features an array of chemises, camisoles and bra and brief sets.

While speaking on the retail partnership the model said, “Walking into the partnership, I knew I wanted to put my heart and soul into the collection. I had very specific ideas I wanted to explore and a clear direction. I am truly grateful to Woolworths for granting me the freedom to tap into my creativity and the guidance throughout the process”.

Founded in 1931, modelled on the UK-based Marks & Spencer, Woolworths is one of the largest retailers in South Africa. The company specializes in fashion clothing and accessories as well as homeware items.
